Skyrim
The world of Skyrim is one of the largest and most richly detailed video game realms of all time. Our task was to replicate the Dragonborn character for this commercial precisely crafting details down to the rivets on his leather padding.
This project showcased the diverse skill set of Gaslight FX Studio, highlighting our expertise in working with mixed materials to create stunningly realistic representations. The result was a striking and intricately detailed real-world representation of this beloved character.
300, the Film
The scope of 300 was immense, with numerous effects companies brought on board to meet the film’s extensive prop requirements. Gaslight FX was responsible for an impressive build list that included dozens of lifelike bodies, the eerie Tree of the Dead, and a massive wall of bodies that could support the actors weight and movement as they traversed these life-like props. 300 remains one of our all-time favorite projects, and we are thrilled to have been a part of such a groundbreaking production.
Strangers: Prey at night
For Strangers: Prey at Night, we were tasked with creating two feminine masks from scratch after the original masks from the first film went missing. We meticulously studied the original film and media to then sculpt, fabricate, and paint the new masks to achieve an almost exact match that stayed true to the form of the first film.
